The Porta de Muíños (“Gate of Muíños”) is devoted to the relationship among water, the Baixa Limia-Serra do Xurés Natural Park and the people of this region. Its location is not put down to chance, as water has a special prominence in Muíños. In this municipality, this valuable resource has been used over the centuries to build water mills, fountains, stepping stone bridges and canals. Muíños is an example of good, responsible use of water, which has been extended in the last years as a consequence of the sportive and recreational use of the O Corgo Complex.
